Livestock Meeting: September @ Kelly Box Ag Center- This is a detailed look at the stock show industry, why we feel it is important for your son/ daughter to participate, financial obligations, district facilities, and any other question you may have about an animal project.
Mandatory Barn Clean up: October @ Kelly Box Ag Center- ANY student wishing to house their animal at the Ag center MUST Attend and prepare the facilities for the new animals coming in.
Stock show Sign up: October @ Mr. Goggins Classroom (BNHS) - Students MUST attend if wanting to show at any stock show the 2015-2016 School year
Swine Purchase Procedure:
State Validation Ear Tag-
MUST be paid $12.00 per animal intended in showing in the 2015-2016 Show Season.
Minimum of $500.00 is due on the following date:

Quality Counts: All students who wish to exhibit their animal at ANY Livestock Show MUST complete the Quality Counts training. The web page below has tutorials, as well as the test needed to enter into any stock show. Test are given based on age, so please use the correct age, or your entry card will not match up, and you will not be able to show. Please write down the assigned number, given once you have passed with a grade of 80% or better, and then pass that number along to your supervising Agriculture Science teacher.
